Well yesterday we went to the doctors to have our gender scan and 18 week ultra sound. Well things were going well and the women scans over my belly and I said to Parnell " i think i just saw it" he says "saw what" and the ultra sound tech moves back over and low and behold their is our little man's, man hood :) LOL. We both screamed "YES" and started to cry. :) That was the best news to hear besides that I was pregnant. :) So on that day June 6th, we discovered that we are having a boy.... Darian Joseph Grenier. :) I love the sound of that :) I have to go back in two weeks to have another scan just to make sure that they can get a better picture of his litlle heart vessals. :) It's not a bad thing he's just still a little tiny. So right now he's about 8oz :), and moving all around :) 

 I figured it would help me and others understand the stages that me and the hubby have been going through... :) below is a break down of the journey we have encountered... :) 

Nov 19th Meet with our new Dr. :) 

Nov 22nd Cycle day 1

Nov 24th Cycle day 3 Blood work

Dec 2nd Sonohystrogram Also Day Cycle day 11

Dec 22nd Cycle day 1 (cycle 31 days)

Jan 11th Started Lupron 10 units for two weeks

Jan 27th Cycle Day 1 (cycle 37 days due to Lupron)

Jan 28th Internal Ultra sound..Left Ovary looking dominate :) 

Jan 29th Started Lupron 5 units in the AM and 187.5 IU of Gonal in PM 

Feb 1st Blood work... Up stimuli drugs to 300 for the next two days.. ultra sound and more blood work on Thursday ...

Feb 3rd Internal Ultra sound and blood work 

Feb 5th Internal ultra sound and blood work... 12 foliciles not quite 12mm but they are getting there..Ultra sound and blood work on Tues

Feb 8th Internal ultra sound and blood work...

Feb 9th Internal ultra sound and blood work ...UGH :( 

 Well lets see .. we go for our 4 weekly check up on May 27th and we will also get the results of the NT scan.. and then we go for the big ultra sound on June 6th to find out if it's team blue or pink. I will update this once we have the results :) 

 Ok  12 weeks 3 days :) I had an appointment today to do some early pre screening for downs and neural tubal defects.. so far things things are looking good... the heart rate was at 149 BPM... but it was amazing to see the little one moving around and actually looking more like a baby everyday.. :)

Well we meet out new doctor and the office yesterday. We meet with Dr. Aktin and he was very funny and made me and Parnell feel very confortable. He went over all the fun stuff that I get to go through :) . He did go over some pre screen that me and baby are going to go through. On Monday I am going to have an ultra sound and some blood work to make sure there aren't any noral (SP) tube defects and some other things. They did try to hear the heart beat with the doppler but we could hear it, but he was able to detect it so that made me feel a little better. But for right now we are at 12 weeks 1 day and so far things are going good. I'll post more when I hear the results of the pre screening.

First off, it has taken us such a long journey to get to this point. When I first met Parnell, I knew I would marry him :) Through our relationship I knew that we would have to fight for our chance of having a baby. Little did we know that it would involved many teams of doctors and specialiast. :) But we got the good news on Febuary 25th that I was pregnant. We will continue to update and add more to this story. :) So check back often :)
